i wrote this one after my dog passed away. my dad and i found a big rock while digging her grave in the backyard. we placed the rock above where she's buried and decorated it with some daisies.
lyrics
in celebration of placing daisies on a rock
let her fly
watch her go
this separation divides my wants from my needs
lessons stick
money goes
what's in between
i wouldn't know
where there's a high there's a low
(x2)
she paints a picture of purity ridden by the disease
in my heart
where it grows
some isolation can bury this deeper into my head
you won't like
what it shows
what's in between
i wouldn't know
where there's a high there's a low
(x2)
